Hercules is a male Liger, who lives in USA. Currently; Hercules the liger is residing at Myrtle Beach Safari South Carolina. Myrtle Beach Safari is also a native home for Hercules, as Hercules the liger was born at the same place. Hercules the Liger is biggest of all the ligers in the world. Hercules the liger is a hybrid breed of big cats which means that his father is a lion and his mother is a tiger. Remember ligers are always two times bigger than lions and tigers. This further makes Hercules the Liger as biggest of all the big cats in the world as well.
When last measured during 2013, Hercules the Liger weighed around 922 Pounds. This is the maximum weight witnessed for any healthy and non-obese liger. This further means that ligers before have been witnessed weighing more than 1000 pounds, but all those ligers have been declared as obese ligers. So Hercules is fittest among all the ligers. At the time of birth Hercules the Liger weighed around 4 to 5 pounds. Hercules gained the weight of 900 pounds during the first 3 years of its life which is equal to a gain an almost of 1 pound per day for a liger.
Hercules the liger holds a lot of world records and because of this reason Hercules the liger has twice appeared within Guinness Book of World Records as well. First time Hercules the Liger appeared within Guinness Book of World Records was when it was 7 years old during the year 2009/2010. Second time Hercules the liger appeared within Guinness book of world records was when it was 10 years old during the year 2013/14. Along with Hercules the Liger Dr. BhagavanAntle, Moksha Bybee and Rajani ferrante has made their appearances as well. All of these three individuals are pure liger experts having decades of combined experience and wisdom for the ligers.
Hercules the Liger was born during the year 2003. He was not born alone, as along with Hercules the liger, his three more brothers were born as well whose names included Sinbad, Vulcan and Zeus the Liger. All of these ligers are big ligers who also weigh more than 900 pounds as well. Sinbad the liger is tallest among all the ligers and he may also be the tallest liger in the world as well. All of these ligers are the cubs of male African lion named as Arthur the Lion. Their mother is a female Bengal Tigress. Hercules and Zeus the Liger both live at Myrtle Beach Safari South Carolina. On the other hand; Sinbad and Vulcan the liger live at Jungle Island which is located at Miami, Florida, USA.
Hercules the liger is about 11 feet long which itself is a world record as no other big cat has ever been recorded to be as long as 11 feet. Apart from that Hercules the liger runs as fast as 50 to 60 miles per hour which is a great record for a liger as well. The leap of Hercules the liger is also recorded at Myrtle Beach Safari and it turned out to be at least 40 feet. Only tigers have the ability to match this leap of 40 feet and that too at their maximum.
Hercules the liger is fond of traveling. He often moves around at various places at United States. However; his biggest traveling took place during the year 2010, when it visited London along with Dr. BhagavanAntle, RajaniFerrante, Moksha Bybee and China York. At London Hercules visited London's Abbey Road, London Underground and also had couple of pictures along with London's Double Decker Bus as well. It was one of the biggest events that occurred at London during the year 2010. While traveling listening to Jazz music is one of the favorite for Hercules the Liger. His further traveling include Miami and Massachusetts on regular basis in USA. At Massachusetts Hercules the liger has become part of King Richard's Faire as well. However; recent reports indicate that Hercules retired from King Richard's Faire during the year 2014.
