Boco the Li-Liger has a very unique appearance. First its huge size and secondly it has a very unique fur. Even though the fur color of the Boco is similar to his father i.e., the lion, however; its fur has very unique spots which make its fur totally unique within the big cat world. Surprisingly; both the lions and the tigers don't have spots on their fur but the Li-Ligers' fur has spotted marks and so does Boco the Li-liger. These spots are dark brown in color and their pattern somehow resembles to the pattern of the jaguar spots (not the color just the pattern).

Boco the Li-Liger has a unique fur which has a tawny brown (light brown) complexion and dark brown spotted marks like the spotted marks of the jaguars.

Furthermore; the presence of the spots on the fur of the Li-ligers such as Boco is a clear indicator that all big cats share common genes and when triggered they may show each other's characteristics as well. Even recently the Journal of Science Advances has confirmed that all big cats share at least 13,000 common genes. The presence of the spots on the fur of the Boco the Li-Liger may possibly has been because of such common genes.
